The Git Guru works at several different clients per year. Your primary goal will be to lead the implementation and adoption of Git and the distributed version control paradigm, which will frequently include migrations and data conversions from a variety of centralized version control systems.
You must be well-versed in Git and non-Git branching strategies and have a strong understanding of Git’s inner workings, command line, strengths, and weaknesses. You must be proactive in managing engagements to ensure that client objectives are met in a timely and satisfactory way.
