Atlassian Expert

We are looking for an Atlassian Consultant to join our team of elite DevOps engineers. ReleaseTEAM consultants support US and Canadian clients, both remotely and on-site as well as provide pre-sales support for our team. An Atlassian Champion needs to possess an in-depth knowledge of all Atlassian products and familiarity with major tools/plug-ins from the Atlassian Marketplace as you will be responsible for client implementations, migrations, support, administrative tasks, staff mentoring, and pre-sales support.

 REQUIREMENTS

  • Extensive Atlassian experience:
  • Administering all Atlassian products Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Bitbucket, etc. in server, cloud, and data center implementations.
  • Installing, upgrading, and migrating Atlassian Products
  • Performance and security tuning of Atlassian products

 NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with Sumo Logic analysis tools
  • Experience with other industry tools: Chef, GitLab, JFrog, Jenkins, Kubernetes, etc.
  • Python, Perl, Ruby, ksh, csh or sh scripting
  • DB Administration (Oracle, Mongo, Postgres, MariaDB)
  • Current Atlassian certifications a plus – if hired, attaining/maintaining certs will be required.

Atlassian Administrator

We are looking for an Atlassian Administrator to join our team of elite DevOps engineers. ReleaseTEAM consultants support US and Canadian clients, both remotely and on-site.

An Atlassian Administrator needs to possess proficiency in the administration of all Atlassian products and major plug-ins from the Atlassian Marketplace, and familiarity with major tools in the Software Configuration Discipline (git, GitLab, GitHub, etc.). Must be proactive to ensure client engagement objectives are met in a timely and satisfactory way.

US Citizenship or Green Card Holders Only
Ability to travel is required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Atlassian Administration:
    Minimum 3 years of experience in administration of Atlassian Jira (all versions), Confluence, Bamboo, Bitbucket, Fisheye, Sourcetree, Statuspage, etc. in server, cloud, and data center implementations
  • Version Control Systems:
    Experience in Bitbucket and one or more of Git, Perforce, SVN, ClearCase

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Atlassian Certifications – if hired, attaining/maintaining certs will be required
  • Experience in:
    • Automation tools, CI/CD tools
    • Cloud Platforms: AWS, Google Cloud, Azure

DevOps Consultant

Our DevOps Consultants work at several different clients per year, setting and maintaining the policies and procedures to maintain DevOps environments. These roles can vary from Client to Client – from Architect to Staff Mentor, but always an engineering role.

The DevOps Consultant leads and works closely with the client’s team, proactively managing the engagement to ensure that goals and defined objectives in a timely and satisfactory way. Self-motivation is a must, to handle complicated technical issues independently – which may not always be centered around the DevOps discipline, such as OS or Network issues. Additional responsibilities could include providing informal and formal training on ReleaseTEAM solutions, attending industry conferences, and maintaining partner certifications.

Junior Product SME

The SME consultants work both at select clients and with tool vendors; travel is required. An SME consultant will work closely with the senior SME and the client’s team and with the vendor partner to ensure that goals are defined and met. These Consultants are proactive in managing the technical relationship with our vendors as well as to ensure client engagement objectives are met in a timely and satisfactory way. They must be able to handle the complicated technical issues independently, which may not always be centered around the area of their SME, such as OS or Network issues. The SME Consultants will be expected to provide training on ReleaseTEAM solutions and DevOps tools and practices.

They must be able to handle the complicated technical issues independently, which may not always be centered around the area of their SME, such as OS or Network issues.

Chef Expert

The Chef Developer works at several different clients per year. In this role, you are a resident expert in using Chef to automate, manage and improve infrastructure setup, testing, and compliance. You should have thorough hands-on knowledge of Chef solutions and cookbook design, and should also be able to communicate how Chef and related tools add value to the DevOps landscape. Be prepared to handle complicated technical issues independently, whether they’re centered around OS or network issues, automation tools &: scripts, or areas that may be outside your typical area of expertise. As a Chef Developer, you will have opportunities to represent ReleaseTEAM at conferences and seminars as a Chef champion.

Git Guru

The Git Guru works at several different clients per year. Your primary goal will be to lead the implementation and adoption of Git and the distributed version control paradigm, which will frequently include migrations and data conversions from a variety of centralized version control systems. You must be well-versed in Git and non-Git branching strategies and have a strong understanding of Git’s inner workings, command line, strengths, and weaknesses. You must be proactive in managing engagements to ensure that client objectives are met in a timely and satisfactory way. Be prepared to handle complicated technical issues independently, whether they’re centered around source control systems, OS or network issues, automation tools, build scripts, or areas that may be outside your typical area of expertise. As a Git Guru, you will have opportunities to represent ReleaseTEAM at conferences and seminars as a Git champion.
