Hello! This month we’re watching for trends in the intersection between security and DevOps. There’s increased scrutiny on toolchain transparency, vulnerability scanning throughout the development lifecycle, and we’re seeing tool vendors expand their tool capabilities through acquisitions of testing companies. While a phishing email is likely behind the Colonial Pipelines ransomware attack, it’s an excellent reminder to stay alert for attacks from every vector, including in official packages, like Python’s PyPI.
