December 2021

Happy Holidays from all of us at ReleaseTEAM!

It's that time of year again, when we look forward to gathering with our loved ones to celebrate the holidays. As Colorado's pandemic numbers soar, we hope that you're staying safe, healthy, and arriving at the airport extra early (Denver airport expects the holiday traffic to beat pre-pandemic levels!).

Need a last-minute stocking stuffer for your favorite DevOps practitioner or something to read while waiting for your flight? Shawn Doyle's book, DevOps Overture, is available in both Kindle and PDF editions.

It's also a great time to download episodes of your favorite developer podcasts. Finally, if you're looking to give to nonprofits who are using technology for good this season, check out digitalundivided, Ada Developers Academy, Able Gamers, and Code.org

And now, for our December round-up of DevOps news:

Git Solutions: How to Choose the Right One Has Changed

Part One: The History of Git and Git Hosting Solutions

GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket are all known for their Git clients, but recently they've been investing in additional DevOps capabilities. We'll look at each of these tools in our new blog series.
