ClearConn 2.0 Release
ClearConn is ReleaseTEAM's custom integration between Rational Software's
Rational ClearCase and Rational ClearQuest. Software development groups have
many different requirements for integrations between their source code control
tool and their change and defect-tracking tools. ClearConn takes into account
this wide variety of requirements, and has also been developed for high
performance: ClearConn will not slow down Rational ClearCase performance.
ClearConn is a two tier, client-server approach
that both gathers relevant information and greatly reduces elapsed time at
checkout, uncheckout, and checkin operations. ClearConn can be set to gather all
Rational ClearCase checkin and checkout information and record it into Rational
ClearQuest. It can be configured to work only on certain branches, or just on
checkin operations. The relationships between Rational ClearQuest databases and
Rational ClearCase VOBs are many. With ClearConn you can manage the integration
between all your Rational ClearCase VOBs to all your Rational ClearQuest
databases.

team was working. Now defining a process is not always necessary or even
valuable at times...
