Sun, 04 May 2008Makers Faire day IPosted to Travel categoryYesterday Shane and I attendeded the Makers Faire. It was a lot of fun. We met my freind Wayne at the hotel around 9am and drove up to the faire in San Mateo, about a 30 minute drive. We weren't able to see everything in one day.Ran into Sarah, she's an old employee of mine, was there with her significant other and thier little one. Both Wayne and I were wiped out around 6pm. A lot of the faire involved lights and fire, so Shane and I are going to head back tonight to see things all lit up. Here's a bunch of pictures. They don't do the faire justice, the Steam Punk area was very impressive as was the cycle area, the food vendors and the makers area.
