Mon, 28 Jul 2008 @ 20:26 || National Milk Chocolate Day || National

At first I thought this was National Chocolate Milk Day, which I'd be all for. But it's only National Milk Chocolate Day, which, while also pretty cool, it's not as cool as National Chocolate Milk Day would be.

Yesterday was National Parents Day. My kids owe me a present.

Mon, 28 Jul 2008 @ 20:22 || Weekend DVDs || Movies

Watched 3 DVDs this weekend.

Jesus Camp

Shawn:
Shane:

A documentary about evangelicals Christians. While it was eye opening, and kinda scary, I didn't think it was sarcastic enough.

MST3K: The Rebel Set

Shawn:
Shane:

All MST3Ks are pretty good. This one actually had a movie that was worth watching and the added commentary just made it better. It had an additional short that we both thought we've seen before.

24: Season 6 - Disk 2

Shawn:
Shane:

Finished the second DVD of the sixth season. Still pretty good.

Mon, 28 Jul 2008 @ 20:13 || Tech Karma || Technology

I must have pissed off the tech god(s). Not sure which Roman god best fits a god of technology, maybe theres a Norse god, they were cooler anyway. My tech karma hasn't been working lately. I've had a number of computer issues come up at work that I'm still working on. I even sunk so low that I called another consulting company for help. I ended up not needing them, but the fact I looked for help is pretty amazing.

I'll have to offer up some VCRs and old remotes as a sacrifice, maybe even a tape recorder.
